$5,458.00, PLUS Shipping, is the total value of the prizes awarded in Magic Broadcast’s 2007 Big Book Writing Contest. $5,850.00 was the estimated amount based on 25 valid entrants. There were 18 persons submitting valid entries, with 26 valid entries received in total. All but one person submitting material received a minimum of $52.00 in prizes. One person had three valid and winning entries in the top 10.

7 Vortex Rings and 7 Valid entry prize packages were not awarded due to lack of valid entries.

A total of 7 invalid entries by 3 different persons were submitted; Two disqualified for plagiary or blatant copyright violations, and two were nice tricks but without any message at all; the remaining 3 were sent to an invalid address and never received.
